2011-06-06 Ringo Starr & His All Starr-Band, Moscow, Russia (video)

Multi-angle video, taken from audience footage.
MP4 file, 1.3 Gb, 102 minutes

There was a lot of nice footage taken during this particular Moscow concert, so I decided to create a multi-angle video of the whole concert (only a part of "Love is Alive" by Gary Wright is missing) from YouTube videos. A lot of care an time were taken in editing this and making it sound and look as good as possible. Note : All Ringo songs are multi-angle (isn't it what matters ?), but the other All-Starr members' songs are not always.
I hope you will enjoy this, especially as there is no official DVD for this tour.
(This was made by a fan, for fans and is not meant to be sold. If I ever find this in any online store, be sure I will do my best to bring down the business of anyone trying to sell this.)

Here's "I Wanna Be Your Man" so you can see how it looks and sounds.

2004-07-11 Jerry Lee Lewis & Chuck Berry, Liverpool Empire, UK

Posting this as a tribute to Chuck Berry, who died yesterday, aged 90.

This is my own audience MiniDisc recording (FLAC) of Jerry Lee Lewis and Chuck Berry's concert at the Liverpool Empire on July 11th, 2004. I burned the MD recording onto a 90-minute CD and had to remove something ; I removed the (much too long for my taste) introduction by Jerry Lee Lewis's band before a tired-looking Killer went on the stage for barely half-an-hour. I might also have removed one Jerry Lee Lewis song, I can't remember clearly.
Chuck Berry was definitely in better shape than Jerry Lee Lewis. He was still rockin' and playing (generally) great guitar. This is his complete show, except for the end of the last song, "Reelin' And Rockin'" that has been removed because of digital noise becoming louder and louder as the song goes. Probably something to do with the 90-minute CD.
Anyway, I hope you will enjoy it !

1992-12-10 Paul McCartney, New York, USA

Soundboard recording
(Complete MTV "Up Close" show)

Recorded at the Ed Sullivan Theater, this concert was part of the promo plan for the album "Off The Ground" which was about to be released. It features a very interesting set-list with rarely played songs such as "Fixing A Hole", "I Owe It All To You", "Big Boys Bickering" and a country-style version (yes !) of "Can't Buy Me Love". This is NOT taken directly from the heavily edited MTV program, this is the complete show.

2010-01-14 Ringo Starr (with Ben Harper & The Relentless Seven), New York, USA

Soundboard recording
(from TV program "Live at the artists' den")

For once, Ringo isn't backed by aging rockers but by a (relatively) young band led by Ben Harper, and it does make a difference. The instrumentation is really powerful, the band is really "into it" and it brings back life to the usual Ringo classics, and you get to hear two songs from Ringo's then current album, "Y Not". Even if you're not a Ringo fan, try this.

1. Photograph
2. Walk With You
3. I Wanna Be Your Man
4. The Other Side Of Liverpool
5. It Don't Come Easy
6. Boys
